As the first of its kind within BESTSELLER, the company is incentivising employees for sustainability goals, effective from 2025. The new initiative aims to motivate and accelerate the commitment to collectively transform the industry and bring fashion forward.
In 2023-24, BESTSELLER’s overall results were impacted by challenging conditions in the global fashion market. Despite this, the Danish fashion company managed to secure an improved EBIT and will continue to invest in transforming its business to adapt to new demands.
Serving as a centre for our business opportunities in the South East Subregion, Ljubljana will be the location of a new BESTSELLER office opening this fall.
In the financial year 22/23, the Danish fashion company managed to increase its topline in a changed and challenging market, while the overall result decreased as expected. This instilled optimism and motivation, which will be turned into – and invested in – business development, technology, and the circular transformation of the fashion industry.
A part of this year's New Year's gift in BESTSELLER is a DKK 5 million donation on behalf of the colleagues to seven hand-picked projects in Pakistan, Cambodia and Bangladesh, among others. All the projects aim to improve conditions for particularly vulnerable people.
Following record growth in 2021-22, BESTSELLER expects more challenging market conditions in the coming year. The first months of BESTSELLER's new financial year indicates a normalisation across the fashion industry and conditions affecting the global economy and therefore also clothes shoppers.
