BESTSELLER is a family-owned fashion company owned by the Holch Povlsen family.
The Board of Directors is the governing body of our company and the Chairman of the Board is Merete Bech Povlsen who, together with Troels Holch Povlsen, founded the company in 1975. The Executive Management in BESTSELLER is in charge of the daily operation of BESTSELLER. Our CEO is the second generation owner of BESTSELLER Anders Holch Povlsen.

In 2023-24, BESTSELLER’s overall results were impacted by challenging conditions in the global fashion market. Despite this, the Danish fashion company managed to secure an improved EBIT and will continue to invest in transforming its business to adapt to new demands.
Our organisation
BESTSELLER is a multi-brand matrix organisation consisting of 20+ individual brands. With our headquarters in Denmark each brand is supported by group functions such as Global Sourcing, Sustainability, Logistics & warehouses, HR, Tech Platform & Developments, Finance and Intelligence & E-commerce Services. Each brand has its own organisation where related brands collaborate on internal resources and in addition each market has country specific organisations. All organisations work according to our central policies and guidelines.
Collaboration, consistent focus and clear leadership are imperative to reach our sustainability targets. The executive-led taskforce FAST is doing just that.
With ambitious strategies come significant decisions. In order to achieve our ultimate sustainability ambition of 'bringing Fashion FWD', an action-oriented taskforce comprised of BESTSELLER’s top management – chaired by CEO Anders Holch Povlsen – get together regularly to fast-track strategic decisions. The executive decision board is called FAST – a Focused, Action-oriented Sustainability Taskforce. The taskforce meet frequently to set a strategic direction for all of BESTSELLER and to make cross-business decisions, the FAST team likewise work under the mindset of a united company concerning sustainability.
